Journeyman Marine Mechanic
Job Description:
This is a full-time, year-round position (no lay-offs in the winter months).
Responsibilities:
- Trouble shooting and repairs to gas sterndrive and outboard engines
- Assisting customers
- Communicating with service department
- Assisting yard personnel
- Electrical testing, repairs and installation to various marine systems
- Team player, neat, tidy, and responsible
- Shop cleanliness and organization
Qualifications:
- Certified journeyman marine mechanic
- Diesel experience an asset but not required
- Strong mechanical background
- Experience in operating boats an asset

Apprentice Marine Mechanic
Job Description:
This is a full-time, year-round position (no lay-offs in the winter months). The apprentice will go back to school one month out of the year and Bridgeview Marine will sponsor the student for the cost of tuition. The student will be responsible for collecting unemployment insurance while attending school.
Responsibilities:
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Assisting Mechanics with trouble shooting and repairs to gas sterndrive and outboard engines
- Perform general maintenance (oil changes/tune-ups) on boats with little supervision
- Shop clean-up
- Assisting yard personnel
- Team Player, tidy, responsible. Ability to follow direction efficiently.
Qualifications:
- Marine trades ELTT (Entry Level Trades Training) or equivalent.

Job Description:
Will be able to perform a wide range of office duties. Has the responsibility of keeping a clean and healthy working environment. Is our link to process orders and ensure that the correct parts are packaged securely and shipped efficiently.

In charge of keeping the yard in working order.

- Launching and recovery of boats from our dock to our storage or service bays
- Forklift loading/unloading of freight
- Helping out in the mechanic shop (third hand)
- Washing and detailing of boats

- Maintaining our fleet of work vehicles
